In 1796 Jean-Charles
Pellerin begon in Epinal (Frankrijk, Vosges) met een kleine drukkerij.
Deze drukkerij is nog altijd in bedrijf. Hij heeft Epinal beroemd
gemaakt met zijn prenten. De volgende houtgravure (1e afbeelding)
dateert uit 1880. Dit voorbeeld wordt nog steeds gebruikt op souvenirs.
In 1796 Jean-Pellerin
started in Epinal (France, Vosges) with a tiny printing-office. This
printing-office is still working. He made Epinal famous with his prints.
De next wood engraving (first picture) dates from 1880. This model is
still used for keepsakes. |
